What does it all mean?
Production - This is the entire process
behind taking a basic song or idea for a composition and taking
that idea from start to finish. Starting with a vocal idea,
guitar and vocal, a sample or some simple chords, a good producer
will interpret that idea into a song and develop it into a
full production of instrumentation, vocals with an arrangement
and structure to the song.
Mixing - Mixing or mixing down is the final
stage of completing a song and is the process of balancing
all the elements such as the vocals, drums, bass, keyboards,
strings, synths, samples and FX etc. and creates the final
sound for the song before the mastering stage.
Mastering - Is the final stage before manufacturing
a single, EP or album and is like putting the icing on the
cake and adds the clarity & sparkle the songs need for
commercial release. It also brings the sound level of a final
mix up to commercial standard, so when played against anything
else hat is available to buy it doesn't sound to low or is
lacking in sonics.
Podcast Production - The entire process
behind the creation of a professional sounding Podcast. From
the script, i-dent, voice over, recording to mastering and
encoding for MP3 distribution through iTunes. The professionallity
of your podcast reflects the quality of your company, organisation
service or product.
Audio Post Production - Audio post is the
production of sound to picture which may include Voice over,
Music composition or Sound design or foley. We have been involved
in sound production for adverts, films and corporate video's
such as a commissioned song for The motion picture Oceans
12, the 2006 Sky Cricket themes, and various TV & radio
ads. |
